Built in 1926, Aloha Tower is the second most recognized landmark in the state; second only to Diamond Head. Once the tallest building in Hawai’i, this tower is still the harbormaster’s traffic control center for Honolulu Harbor. The 10th floor observation deck boasts spectacular views of the city. Open daily from 9:30AM-5:00PM. Admission is free. Aloha Tower is also just a quick walk from Honolulu’s Revitalized downtown area full of trendy café’s and boutiques. For those with a more adventurous nature, visit Chinatown with its open markets, herbal shops, lei stands, and ethnic eateries.
