Chinatown / Maunakea Marketplace

Visiting ‘Chinatown’ in any major city is an experience in itself, and the one in Honolulu won’t disappoint. Maunakea Marketplace is perhaps the epicenter of Honolulu’s Chinatown, where all the sights, sounds and smells of Asia await you. There is also an abundance of Hawaiian and Asian cuisine, including an open market and food court. The Marketplace is also home to the Hawaiian Chinese Multicultural Museum and Archives, and you will find it on the Red line.
