Located just a short walk from the Waikiki Trolley Pink Line’s Ilikai Hotel / Hilton Hawaiian Village stop, San Paolo Pizza & Wine is a unique Brazilian-Italian fusion restaurant. Since opening in June 2024, it has quickly become a hotspot for both locals and visitors. We heard they just launched a brand-new pasta menu, so we stopped by to check it out!
A Buzzworthy Pizzeria Using Premium Ingredients
Since opening its doors, San Paolo Pizza has made waves in Hawaii with its “Brazilian Gourmet Pizza,” featuring high-quality ingredients imported directly from Brazil and Italy. Beyond the mouthwatering food, the restaurant boasts a spacious interior with plenty of seating, meaning wait times are generally short. It’s a fantastic, stress-free choice for large groups and dinner parties.
Featuring Fresh Local Pasta from Kaimuki
The new menu features three types of fresh pasta, utilizing handmade noodles from ONDA Pasta & Provisions, a highly celebrated local artisan shop in the Kaimuki neighborhood. The shape and thickness of the noodles are carefully selected to perfectly cradle each specific sauce, resulting in a beautifully chewy texture and incredible flavor in every bite.

SPAGHETTI WITH PARMESAN FONDUTA & PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA The decadent Parmesan fonduta sauce pairs flawlessly with the savory, salty notes of Prosciutto di Parma. While creamy and rich, it’s perfectly balanced so you can enjoy every last bite.
