Since 1922, the Hawaii Theatre has played a significant role in Honolulu’s cultural landscape. Interior restoration was completed in 1996 and the exterior completed in 2004. Recognized internationally for its beautiful ambience, the theatre is listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places.
