Honolulu Marathon

Until 9:50 AM on Sunday, December 8, 2024

The Blue and Green Lines will be affected.

Lane closures for the Honolulu Marathon will begin on Kalakaua Avenue, at the mauka side of Kapiolani Park, then Monsarrat Avenue, Paki Avenue, Diamond Head Blvd., 18th Street, Kilauea Avenue, Waialae Avenue, Kalanianaole Hwy, turn around near W. Hind Dr., Kealahou Avenue, Kahala Avenue, Diamond Head Blvd., Kalakaua Avenue, and finish at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand.

Lane closures will begin at 2:30 AM for set-up.

Blue Line : Routes 1-3 are suspended. Route 4 will resume normal operation starting at 10:30 AM from Waikiki Shopping Plaza.

Green Line : Service 1-2 will be suspended. Service 3 will resume normal operation from 9:30 AM departing Waikiki Shopping Plaza.

STREET BIKERS UNITED-TOYS FOR TOTS CARAVAN

Lane closures for the Bar Nolasco Half Marathon will begin on Kalakaua Ave, mauka side of Kapiolani Park, then Monsarrat Blvd, Paki Blvd, Diamond Head Blvd, 18th Street, Kilauea Ave, Waialae Ave, Kalanianaole Hwy, turn around near W. Hind Dr, Kealahou Blvd, Kahala Ave, Diamond Head Blvd, Kalakaua Ave, and finish at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand.

Lane closures will begin at 5:00 AM for setup and will continue until approximately 10:00 AM.

Blue Line : Service 1 and 2 are suspended. Service 3 will resume normal operation from 9:50 AM departing Waikiki Shopping Plaza.

Green Line : 7:37-10:00AM ③ Detouring around the Honolulu Zoo.

Blue, Red , Green and Pink Lines are affected. All lanes and sidewalks on Kalakaua Avenue will be closed from Seaside Boulevard to Liliuokalani Avenue. Lane closures will begin at 12:30pm for setup.

  • Red Line : After 2:30 PM
  • Green Line : Only 7th terminus affected
  • Pink Line : After 2:00 PM
